As our final celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we held a schoolwide assembly where our students performed pieces inspired by Hispanic traditions and artists, represented our own heritage with flags and celebrations in the audience and were treated to a terrific performance from the Latin Heartbeat Orchestra, who helped our students trace the roots of music back through Hispanic influences.
